crazy couple weeks

I am working hard to get dossier put together and i am fundraising and i am being a taxi,,a housekeeper,,a  mom and bill payer and a wife.On top of it i had a booth in a craft event outside and it was cold.I did not know it was going to be outside and ended up horribly sick.I am feeling better now thankgoodness and have been back to work on documents for the dossier. I cant wait for the paper pregnancy to be over and in country.I cant wait for her to come home with a mom waiting for her.I am ready..I even made her some adorable hair bows.My sweet child i have falled in love with her picture.I cant wait to hold her and tell her how much she is loved,,,

we are adopting

Yes we are and i am so excited..We are bound for africa to bring home a precious daughter.I am working deligently on paperwork to get the homestudy done...Then uscis and dossier assembled.I made a check list as i dont want to mess anythig up.WE NEED HER HOME NOW.she has cerebral palsy and is nonverbal she has feeding issues and seriously needs a g tube.I am fundraising like crazy and am working on gathering items for an online auction.I make haor bows lanyards and jewelry anything helps.She s so worth all that i will do to get the funds needed to adopt.

This guy right here has his sleep messed up!It seems everywinter he does not sleep at night!I am not sure how to change this pattern although i try really hard to do so..We have switched his feed schedule around thinking he is hungry at night!This did not fix it!I play sounds of water fall and relaxation to try to help.We have tried melotonin and it also does not help!I am not sure what we are going to do...This lil stinker needs sleep and so does mommy!

BIG CHANGES ARE COMING!

There is going to be some big things happeneing for the miller Family!I cannot wait to explain but right now i cannot...just know its BIG!The last couple days our budget planning has taken a huge hit!Our furnace is broke and its going to hit the budget realy hard!My car battery decided to drop dead and that was an expense of 148.00 hoping no more hard hits..Really trying to save money for many reasons!
    I want to see a huge difference in bills and expenditures if we can keep from anyting else deciding to break!
 

New Year and changes!

Every year i set new goals..some i do accomplish but some i do not!This year my goal is to work on being more penny pinching with our money!I have found some ways to cut and am anxious to see if we save by doing this...The other thing i set fourth is to make my marriage even stronger..This is always a good goal to keep!
       I also want to set some goals for the boys!I am still working on those goals!I hope to see alot of good things to come for my family...

way to long for a post!

Life has kept me very busy and somedays it can be very hectic around here...The boys are all growin up way to fast!Jaxson has had hip surgery and is a complete new man..Make  a wish came and granted his wish he now has a lovely standern and a swing in his room that he loves...Jaxson has grown to a whopping 66 lbs which has forced this mom to use the ceiling lift as not to mess up my back anyworse than i have all ready!he is quite the chunkstre now!Landen is a highschooler now..its hard to believe..He just turned 16 (where has the years gone)I am hoping to blog more now that i have a little bit of time once the babes are all in bed!

Hip pain

Jaxson had double hip surgery a year ago!It was a wonderful thing to see him pain free and has been pretty well pain free since.The orthopedic surgeon does not remove hardware for atleast a year after or longer if it causes no problems.His hip surgery was a year ago this past December !Jaxson has been having severe right hip pain so we are seeing the surgeon on march 30th to discuss what to do..remove the hardware or not to remove the hardware!I dont want my sweet boy hurting!Hoping for the best at this appointment!

BAD BLOGGER

I am a really bad blogger!I have not written anything for a long while!I use this as sort of a journal!Life has been chaotic but we have been so blessed!Jaxson recieved a letter from make a wish!He was granted a wish!The hard part is what would jaxson like for his wish!A trip is not in the cards because he is so medically fragile!so make a wish and michael and I decided on a wish that will last for a verylong time!Jaxson is getting a stander this is something i was stressing about as they are so pricey!To see my son stand will be amazing.this was the best wish for Jaxson and soon he will stand!Jaxson also got his first pair of AFO'S and new hand/wrist braces!we have celebrated Birthdays!Landen turned 15 my sweet boy is growing to fast!Jaxson (my baby) turned 10!I cant believe how the years fly by.I am so glad i am enjoying everybit of it with my children!Making memories and spending time with my kids is what its all about!

Life!

Sometimes Life is so hard and other times its like i am sailing through the days before you know it those precious days are a thingof the past!Lately things have been tough!Our furnace broke at a bad time as we have had some really cold weather!Thankfully my 21 yr old daughter came to the rescue with electric heaters.The man comes to fix our furnace and then informs me that the part that broke is expensive!Not what i want to hear right around the holiday time!I am learning though to be more patient and stop sweating the cost of things and just enjoy what i have!I know God has blessed us greatly with our beautiful kids our beautiful home and is providing the nourishemnt we put in our bodies!For that i am very Thankful!
   When times get tough i just stand back and say a prayer !You never know whats around the next corner of life so i am embracing it more and more each day!Now to get the furnace fixed!

LOVE THIS TIME!

I love the times i can set and cuddle Jaxson!I dont what i will do when he is to big to fit on my lap!I am cherishing every second with my love bug and i would not have it any other way!

MY BLOG DECISION!

I have decided to keep my blog!Itis an outlet for me and since noone reads it i can journal anything i want without the lash back i would get on a media site like facebook!I love my family and like to share how all of them are doing and what is happening in our family!If i want to vent my frustrations i can do that too..So decision made...Now just to get better ate posting!

BLOG OR NOT TO BLOG

I Love my blog!I love it as its like a journal and a way to share my good times and my bad times.I sometimes get to busy with my family to have time to come and post happenings!I also am considering closing it down because why noone reads it anyway LOL.but its is my way to journal what i want and say what i want.so now i am trying to make the decision to end this blog!I stareted this blog when we started the process to adopt and found our Liberian angel and the process of bringing him home!
            Until i get to the point of deciding what to do i will keep it going until then.

STANDER FOR JAXSON!

     Jaxson just recently had surgery!He had a tendon release and club foot fused on both feet!Our biggest hurdle right now is orthopedic doctor wants him in a stander!Our insurances does not pay for one so i am doing everything i can to pay for one!This is the one he needs as its sit to stand! they are of course very pricey!Any ideas on fundraising one would be awesome!I have a gofund me page if any decided to read this blog !Even 5 dollars helps!http://www.gofundme.com/7ak4hc I have been selling things around my house that are not needed anymore and the money goes directly into savings to help pay for this stander!The importance of getting a child standing is beyond this!The longer he is down the more chances he has of getting weaker brittle bones!I dont want that for Jaxson!I want what every parent wants and thats a chance for my son to be able to stand and possibly walk!Would you consider helping?I do not like in anyway to ask for help but comming up with the funds needed for one is nearly impossible right now!Thankyou for taking the time to read this!God bless!

WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED!

I dont write on my blog much anymore...I have failed at it badly..Our home has been so incredibly busy!We needed a handicap van for Jaxson.I was driving a big econoline and lifting my 45 lbs son into this van and then lifting his 65 lb wheelchair into the back.We needed a van so i applied for a grant.I also applied for cars fo heroes in Kansas city.1 month later we got a call from cars for heroes to come to Kansascity an bring the kids with us so they could see what we needed!I was surprised when they announced that we have a a handicap van.I was so happy i cried and cried.Their are wonderful people in this world.Thanks to this amazing organization and the donating family we now can go places alot easier and not break our backs!it ramps him right in the back and we tie the wheelchair down.Alot easier now.We love it and are feeling so very blessed!

BIG CHANGES!

So much has changed around here..i have watched this sweet boy of mine grow and change!Jaxson had hip surgery in december...he is so much more happy now..he also has gotten glasses which now he can see about 5 feet away!He is so much happier !Those awesome smiles and giggles i love so much!My sweet child who came to me very sick and tiny..Now he is happy and healthy!I am so Blessed!

Update on the kids!

Landen is doing very well!He had a horrible sinus infection for a couple weeks and an awful sore throat but he is now back to normal and back to school!I love Landen so much he amazes me!Jaxson oh how sweet he is!he is so much more happier now that he is not in pain with his hips!He is all smiles and is kicking around more and scooting and wiggling!He has been  through so much and has a trooper through it all!The ent sized his trach down a couple weeks ago and it is going very well..Our hopes is to get rid of the trach in the near future!Which is also what Jaxson's Entis working toward too!Both my sweet babys are doing so well!I have so much love for both these boys!They may not be able to tell me verbally they love me !They sure do show it with their eyes and their amazing  smiles!

sleep safe bed!

Jaxson needs  a bed that he can sleep safe and comfortably in...Our insurance does not pay for a sleep safe bed so i am saving as much as i can!I have also set up a page..I do not like asking for help..Its not my thing but i really need your help with this bed!I am adding a link if you would like to donate!

look at these legs!

I cant believe how good he looks..he can move them like he used too!I am going to have one active boy soon once his healing is done and therapy begins.he can now wiggle his toes and move his feet around oh and kick....kicking is new for him...my little boy is pretzel boy no more that  his hips are fixed!

Healing!

Jaxson had his cast on for 3 weeks!He now has this brace and is healing rather nicely..I love watching him move his legs and wiggle his toes.He used to scoot around on the floor until his hips got so bad he just could not!His healing is coming along and he is so much happier.I am so blessed to have my son in our lives!

Birthday Boy!

Jaxson turned 9 yrs old on February 11 th!I can hardly believe he is 9...he had a Thomas the train party and had an awesome party!he got lots of presents and loved the icecream the best!
