This morning William got sick again.I took him to the doctor and we finally know what is wrong.William has viral meningitis.The doc said it will take awhile before he is back to normal as it is a rough viral illness.He prescribed lortab for the horrible headaches and phenergan for the vomiting.He said best thing for this is lots and lots of SLEEP.
I pray to see my son on the road to recovery now.He is enjoying being home and not stressing about everything now.I want him to rest and get better and back on his feet.He is a great boy... who is loving,respectful,funny and very generous and caring.He is talking taking some schooling and working a Job as well.I will support his endeavor whatever it may be.
A little news...It may be very soon we travel for Liberia.They are going to be releasing adoptions that are completed soon so we can get a visa.I am going to gather paperwork we need still this week so if we get the call all we will need is to send off our visa's and set up flight and hotel.Please PRAY its soon.I would be thrilled to have him home before thanksgiving.

MY SON IS HOME!
William was released from the hospital today! His vomiting is no more and he is able to eat now without getting sick.He still gets the headaches but they are not as bad as they was.He has moved in with us and will remain home until he can get back on his feet.
William informed me their is BLACK MOLD in his house.I did not know of this until recently.He did tell his landlord who did nothing.I looked up Black mold poisoning and Williams symptoms had matched it.I told the doctor and they refused to test him.Its a swab up the nose and they wouldn't do it.So we have a follow up with his doctor this week and i am asking him to do this test.
William has no insurance he is so stressed out about this.I have a form to finish filling out and get in mail tomorrow to help with medical bills.He will also be applying for a medical card.I hope he can get one.He has no income at all and owns nothing of value.
William has lost any belonging he had due to this Mold and is starting over.Tomorrow we are informing the landlord that William is moving out.I am angry at his his slumlord.If we get this test and it is positive... the landlord is in some serious trouble.I want this test because if he does have mold spores in his body he will keep getting sick.Right now benedryl and Motrin seem to be helping.The hospital could not pinpoint what exactly was the problem and chalked it up to a weird allergy . I am happy and relieved he is home and not 2 hrs away in a hospital bed suffering.I am sad because of the mounding debt my young 20 yr son is in now.Please pray for William as he recovers and gets back on his feet.

PRAYER NEEDED MY OLDEST SON IS SICK!
I just got home from the hospital a little bit ago.My son William is rally sick.He was complaining of dizziness and headache last Wednesday.The headache continue on and would NOT go away.Saturday he spiked a fever and began vomiting.The headache continued and worsened.He went to the doctor on Monday and the Doctor did him no good.I had him stay at our house because he was miserable sick and i wanted to care for him.Tuesday morning at 6 30 am i woke up to him on his knees on the bathroom floor in pain with his head and vomiting.
I drove him to the ER they did several test and found Nothing.The doctor was growing concerned and next step was a spinal tap to rule out meningitis.The results came back with high amount of red blood cells and protein in his spinal fluid.The doctor told me William had a brain bleed and was sending him to a hospital in Kansas city to see the neurosurgeons.William underwent an angiogram to check his brain for aneurysm's.This test came back negative so he spent the night in ICU and had an MRI today.This test was also negative.My son has nothing wrong with his brain.
He is now is a regular room but is still sick with ongoing MIGRAINE AND VOMITING.They have no clue what is wrong.I came home tonight to shower and get a nights sleep and am heading back to the Hospital.I think i know what is wrong and will let you all know once i have discussed it with his doctor in the morning.Pray my son feels better soon.I am worried sick and dont like seeing my children sick.William is stressing because he had no Insurance and is worrying sick about how he will pay for this.I am helping him fill out papers for financial aide to help with the cost.Lots of prayers needed right now.

STRESSED OUT!
I need a vacation!My kids have been disobeying lately then my husband has been to easy with them.My oldest son is driving me CRAZY!Love him but wow is he wearing on me right now.Please pray my emotions are a wreck and my family is not helping matters.

NOT MUCH TO SHARE!
Life has been that just life as the weekend is passing.My son and his girlfriend have decided to take some time apart.Her Mom came from Missouri to pick her up.She is suffering from depression and i don't like to say this but its true.Miss spoiled princessness.She expected my son to take care of her and buy her things while she did nothing.She did not even clean the house.He was fired recently and is broke which set her into a angry mood all the time.
I had talked to her about her needing to get a job and that her and William both need to work so they could have the things they wanted in Life.She didn't listen to me at all or my son.It was spinning out of control and my son was suffering stomach aches and Migraines.
Today i was up at 6 am enjoying a cup of coffee on my deck.The kids were all still sleeping and all was quiet.My sweet husband decided to join me around 6:30 am.It was nice having that time for my husband and I to talk.With the kids and the remodels its seems we don't have that time anymore.I love setting out on my deck in the early mornings when its cool.I am just taking today to just Relax and enjoy my Landen boy.It was so hectic yesterday i didn't get to spend no time with him.Landen and I may make the 5 mile drive later out to visit my mom and dad.Just a nice relaxing day.Hope this week brings news about adoptions in Liberia and news we can go get our son.

A LITTLE NEWS IN LIBERIA THAT MAY BE A GREAT THING!
The Minister Of Justice was moved last week to another part of the Government Ministry this past week.A woman has replaced him and she does not know why adoption decisions are taking so long and is going to meet with the President.PLEASE PRAY!
This could be great news for all involved and waiting families and children.So this is the newest news i have heard.I am still waiting to hear from senator getting frustrated with it all.But am not giving up.Took them several days the last time to get back with me.
Lots and lots of thoughts and prayers!
I have to share this with you...My parents came by tonight for coffee .My dad asked whats the hold up getting our Grandson home?I told him Dad i really don't know.He said don't they see he needs to be seen by a doctor my gosh i worry he is going to get sick and you lose him.This is so amazing considering when we first mentioned we were wanting to adopt again we got allot of crap about it.I am happy my parents have came around.They get excited with every picture they see and any information they get.I LOVE IT!

MAKING A LIST!
I am making a list of what we will need when we do get to go to Liberia.
1. Paperwork....still need a letter about income and get copies of taxes.All other paperwork i have and its ready.
2. need to send off for Visa's wont do this until we get the call to travel.They are only good for 3 months.
Packing list for Jax....
for a week stay....5 pairs pjs,7 outfits, 7 pairs socks,3 blankets, one big can formula,30 diapers, box of cereal,15 conatiners of baby food (fruits), 2 playtex drop in bottles and a box of drop in liners,2 standard bottles incase he dont take the playtex ones, baby spoon. box of wipes,Baby lotion,bath,diaper ointment,powder,toothbrush and paste,Tylonol,dimatap,Masquito wipes,4 musical toys,2 soft crinkle books, a box of disposable bibs.I am not packing shoes...We will just put socks on him until we get home.
anything else you all think we will need?Or that i didnt pack enough of?The playtex bottle was a last minute thing i bought 2 of them at walmart.They would be so much easier because i throw the liners away and no washing required sense we can only use bottle water .
I also packed a front pack carrier it will be easier putting him the pack when traveling.Do you think 30 diapers will be enough?
Michael and I are packing as light as we can and i think we did a pretty good job with that.
Any ideas? i want to make sure we have what we need for Jax..i don't want to be caught without something we may need.
