Landen progress!

Landen has sure came along in leaps and bounds!He is talking more and boy can he be silly and mouthy.He knows when he is doing something he should not be doing.When you get near him to stop him he says UH OH and stops doing the naughty thing he is doing.Potty training is not going well.I know this kid can do it he is just so stubborn.He loves to be outside and in the pool every chance he gets.Clothes and all he don't care lol.He is so much fun.He loves me to sing Winnie the pooh to him and he dances while i sing.He is more open to giving kisses and hugs now.He is a busy guy i wish i had half his energy he goes and goes.He kisses Jaxson on the head and pats his head its so cute.He will also take a rattle to him...Unless it plays music then he keeps that one for his self ha ha.He loves his siblings as the older kids wrestle with him and play with him.He will seek them out.If they go to leave he yells..DON'T GO.He brushes his teeth well now and loves baths with his millions of rubber duckies.He calls bath time rubber Dukie time it is so funny.I love this kid he is an active boy who keeps me plenty busy.I love when he learns new things.He has been singing the blues clues song all week.He still is a picky eater but we manage and i i tell him he can have chocolate milk(chocolate pediasure).Sometimes he drinks it sometimes he don't.When i get him to i am one happy Mommy!He loves bubbles and loves balls..He will bounce balls on our front porch for hours he loves it.He loves summer time and the outdoors.He so much fun i love this kid!Its hard to believe he has been home with us now for 51/2 yrs.The progress he has made is remarkable.I am so happy he is our son.

Jaxson progress!

I have kind of taken a break from my blog!I have been busy with my little boys and am enjoying every minute of it.Jaxson is growing and is such a love.I love it when he smiles at me when i get close to him and he sees me.He now answers to Jaxson when we say his name he turns and looks at us.He is eating baby food now and Mango's is one on the top of his list.He don't like Bananas and chicken and broccoli.He loves sweet potatoes and chicken noodle dinner.He loves his mobile and smiles and talks to it and bats at it now.This is big to us he would look at it but never try to touch it.Now he giggles at it and smacks it with his tiny hands.We are still working on feeding with a spoon.This has made much improvement.He gets mad though when the food don't come fast enough.He is very much a Mommy's boy and will search me out until i pick him up.I am so happy he is home now.Its been 3 months and it does not seem like it at all.I have enjoyed having him home every second of everyday.I know we will see more changes in our angel in time.He amazes us more each and everyday!We love this kiddo.

appointments!

We have been very busy with appointments for Jaxson.Yesterday was his Rehab appointment and it went wonderfully.We had noticed while in Liberia that something was wrong with jaxson's left hip.We were suppose to get xrays awhile back and they never got set up.Rehab got the xray we needed yesterday and called me today to tell me my sweet baby has a dislocated hip .I cant imagine the pain he has and never complains about my poor sweety.He will be seeing an orthopedic surgeon in august.He also got an appointment to have his hearing tested... a swallow study done..an appointment to get braces for both wrist and an appointment to be fitted for a new wheel chair.We will be busy but i am thrilled that its comming together and this means more mobility for my angel.I hope they can fix his hip.My precious boy deserves so much.

This and That!

I have enjoyed today so much!No appointments at all so we hung here and filled up wading pool for Landen.He has been getting in and out of it allday.I been cleaning house and doing laundry and playing with my sweet baby Jaxson.I have not been patching Jaxson's eye like i am suppose to.I had stick on pathces kinda like a bandaid but the adhesive really sticks.It was awful trying to take them off at bedtime.I made it to walmart yesterday and bought one with an elstic strap on it.This will work much better so tomorrow he will wear his patch.Jaxson is so sweet and smiles all the time.I just love my little man so much!

Finally!

We recieved the letter from Immigration stating they will be sending Jaxson's resident card.I have been worried about this.Now we wait for the actual card to come.We meet this week with our social worker to do the first post placement visit.Oh my goodness it does not feel like he has been home almost 3 months already.He is doing wonderful.Landen is doing wonderful..Landen is loving summer time.We are all happy and healthy.
