Busy these days!

It has been crazy busy here.The last day of school for the kids was today!I am so thrilled it is summer time.All the kids are in need of a break.Landen was on burn out mode the last couple months he will be tickled when he dont have to be woke up early to get ready for school.
Jaxson has has several appointments lately.He has PT yesterday and has a new Bumbo seat that PT is letting him use.He loves it as he can sit in it and watch Dora on t.v. lol.He watched Dora today he was glued.He also has an excercise ball to help with stretches.I wore him out tonight with therapy.
Tomorrow my dear Husband is having surgery..He fell and got a blister on his elbow which turned into a nasty sore.Come to find out its the pins he had put there when he broke his elbow a few years back.Tomorrow they are removing the pins.
We are all doing good.Hoping my 16 yr old finds a job this summer.She wants a car and the only way she is going to get one is to get a J.O.B.I hope to get Landen potty trained this summer and really crack on some self help skills.We are going to be busy.

2 MONTHS TODAY HE HAS BEEN HOME!

was 16 lbs Not no more!

Jax has sure chunked up in weight.He has chubby little legs.I always did like a babies chubby legs.Does he not look good?He is so sweet.

Been busy!

Yesterday was an all day at children's mercy.Jax seen the urologist yesterday.We got some good news starting with his testies are descended yes i know this sounds gross but this is GREAT news for Jaxson.He does have a med he is on because he is restricting badly.This doc will not circumcise him and i don't feel this is a big issue anyway.So if he isn't its OK.
The Nutritionist told me to get him off formula and put him pediasure.Or i could could put him on nestle instant breakfast and mix with vitamin D milk.I am not sure what we will do.Right now he is gaining nicely and i am going to give him more time before i switch his milk.We tried a powdered milk already and vitamin D and he got a tummy ache.I have left him on the formula because it agrees with him.They say he is not getting enough Vitamin D from it.
I know we need to switch him and we will soon.Oh and finally someone listened to me...The nutritionist is recommending a swallow study for him.
Landen's yearly Nuero is may 25Th.I did not realize that Rebecca's 8Th grade promotion is on same day so i need to reschedule.Landen's appointment is not until 3 which means i would be late or absent for Rebecca and i just cant do that.Today is BEAUTIFUL outside and i am enjoying it.

Weekend

The weekend was really good.Yesterday was very busy and today i spent doing some much needed dusting and mopping.Jaxson is so much better!I would think so with the rocefin and steroid shot on top of that a zpac and a oral steroid.Now we go back to the doctor to get cleared for surgery.I am praying they get it scheduled quickly before he gets sick again.
I noticed today was when he actually felt better.I didn't get pics like i wanted to but i will soon.Jaxson just went to sleep he lay ed in his crib and was talking and squealing at his mobile.He loves that thing and so cute to watch.I am so happy he is home.The first month was crazy trying to adjust Jax .Its finally settling down and i am watching him become more animated everyday.He is so precious.I love to watch him sleep in his crib and just watch my little angel.I am so so blessed.

WHAT A DAY!

Jaxson is feeling better!He slept allot today and when he woke he got medicated ate 2 bottles and had a breathing treatment.He was happy all evening and was making lots of noises and smiling.He is such a little love bug.I knew he was feeling better as his appetite is back.
Landens icky nose has also decided to go away and he is feeling better too as he was destructing the house.
Linda had a bad time at school today.She called me crying said her neck hurt and was radiating pain up her jaw.Her dad picked her up at school and took her to the chiropractor.This has seemed to do the trick she is feeling better now.
Jaxson finally went to bed at 2a.m. its now after 3 am and i am headed to bed myself for a few hours.By the time i get the little ones asleep and pick up the house fold the laundry i wash during the day .wash a load of baby bottles i am now exhausted.I also do my dusting when Jaxson is in his crib sleeping because of his asthma.Its just been a wild week as Jaxson has been so sick poor baby.The high dose antis and the steroids worked he is feeling so much better.I am bummed though as he wont be having his surgery Monday.They wont do it with him being on antis as its a risk to him.I don't want the risk!Please say a prayer he gets 100% soon and we can reschedule to get his surgery soon.His adenoids is what is causing all these issues in the first place.He needs the surgery before he gets sick again.OK i am tired!I plan on taking some pics with my camera this weekend.I have not taken any of the babies lately.Landen is a ham when he see,s the camera.He will walk up to me and sat cheese my silly boy.

NO ct scan

They cant do it with him sick.It is rescheduled for June 21st.Pray our sons health stays well to get through these many appointments he so desperatly needs.I am pretty sure he wont be having his surgery on Monday either.Looks like this will be rescheduled as well.

doc visit for Jax today!

Landen and Jaxson both have nasty head colds.I have been giving both boys medicine.Jaxson's is worse and he was up quite a bit all night last night he was running a fever and the dumb thermometer broke.I made an appointment today for Jax.Yhe doc gave him a rocefan shot and a steroid shot.He also gave him oral high dose anti and a steroid too.He prescribed albutrerol for his his.He has pulmacort one time a day.The albuterol is a rescue.The doc is being aggressive with this because Jaxson cant have hise needed surgery unless he is over this.Also there is concerns with this sickness so its best to be aggressive with it.
Tomorrow Jaxson has a childrens mercy appointment...this should be interesting as they cannot sedate Jax to do the cat scan because he is sick.I am praying he does well for them.The stinky part is they are making me cut his food at 9 a.m and he dont get ct scan until 4 p.m. ughh.How do you tell a baby he cant have a bottle.This is going to be rough on him.He can have clear liquids but that does him no good and he has to have it thickened.Thickener cannot be used either UGHH.
On a good note... Jaxson weighed in today at 22 lbs 10 oz.I knew the stinker has gained some weight he is getting heavier.Now i hope to get Landen over this cold..He was miserable today.Tonight he was much better .If he is not better soon he is off to see the doc next.
Luckily both the girls have escaped this sickness although my husband didnt and is in full swing of it with the little guys.I am hoping i do not get it.Ok finally got jax to sleep its late i am headed to bed.

Jaxson Update!

Today was amazing...Jax is coming so far.I had him on a blanket on the floor and we were doing tummy time.He was up on his knees and his elbows.I think if he could get on his hands this child would be crawling.He has gained so much strength it is just amazing.He uses his good foot and pushes with it until his bottom is off the floor.I wish his Rehab appointment was closer i cant wait to get the ankle braced and watch him go.His head is much better.I dont think its going to be to much longer and he will be bale to hold it with no problems.I should of made a video..If he does it again i will capture it.

I rescheduled his eye appointment.It was suppose to be yesterday bit we got nasty weather here and i did not want to drive that hour and 45 minutes by myself in a nsaty storm.So its June 7th now.Jaxson has discovered he needs to make noises and be loud to get his daddies attention.It was so funny he was looking at his daddy and being as noisy as he could until my husband picked him up.He loves massages and i gave him one tonight... he smiles and giggled through it .He is eating well and is gaining weight good.I cant wait to get a current weight on him.Jax has a cat scan on Friday for the nuerologist and Monday he has surgery to get his adenoids out.I hope to have many more updates soon.

Mothers day!

Today was wonderful..i got to spend time with 6 of my 7 kids.It w as nice and i enjoyed it.We went to Nebraska to my brothers house for a bbq.All the husbands cooked and served the wives(moms) a plate for mothers day.It was a good day.
I am so happy to say that after being home 6 weeks Jaxson is showing signs of bonding and attaching.Today my niece was holding him he searched me out and looked at me.He looked at her again and started crying and turned back at me again.She handed him back to me and he quit crying.He did this a couple times today.When we got home I put him in activity seat so i could use the bathroom.He cried the whole time i was in there until i got back in his view and soothed him.
Tomorrow he has his opthamoligist appointment .I am anxious to find out more about his eye sight.

Surgery is scheduled!

For Monday may 17Th.I changed the children's appointments as they are not dire appointments.His adenoids cannot wait and this is as soon as we can get an appointment.I also been on the phone setting up yearly Nuero and Opthamologist for Landen.Jaxson's opthamology appointment is this Monday.I am anxious to see what the doctor has to say about his strabismus and possible Nastigmus.
We have had an easy week and for that i am grateful.Next week will be busy with appointments so anytime i get a break i am happy.Jaxsons excersaucer came today and my husband put it together.Pics to come there is a couple toys on it that Jax loves he smiles at them its so cute.

The Weekend!

We had a nice laid back weekend.We had no scheduled plans and just hung out and let the kids play.We got Jaxson's swing put up and Landen got a new Jump_o_lene.I need to get pictures of him in it.Jaxson loved his swing.He did not fuss or cry at all.He was awake although he looks like he is sleeping in the picture.He does not care for the sun in his eyes so i will have to make sure he has a sun hat on.I enjoyed the weekend with our kids.We have no appointments this week or Jaxson don't..I have dental appointment on Thursday.I have been getting allot of cleaning and Bagging up clothes that don't fit or are to big to be put away or dropped off at second hand store.I am liking this easy no running to appointments week i am having.

HOME A MONTH!

I cannot believe we have been home with our Liberian angel a month already.How time has flown by.I am so blessed to have him here with us.He is such a sweet baby he

is starting to laugh out loud more everyday.I have cherished every second of each and everyday we have had him with us.I have seen big changes in him in the short time he has been with us.I am so so happy to be his mother.
