I have not posted much just keeping busy at home.Yesterday Michael and I and the little boys went to meet our attorney about readopting Jaxson.Linda called and said mom we have no water.We get back home and find a pipe was broken and water was dumping all over under the house.We got the city to come shut the water off and by this time it was pouring down raining.Michael had to wait until today to get under the house to fix it.The good news is it was was not broken.A clamp the plumbers put on came undone.Michael re clamped it and called the city and they came turned us on and we now have water.
I have been having a hard time getting Jaxson's supplies he needs for his feedings.I called them last Tuesday to order bags.They said they would be here in 2 days.Two days went by an no bags.I called them this morning because we have 2 bags left.the one he is using and one for tomorrow.Mind you these feed bags are only good for 24 hrs.Then we switch them out.They tell me oops sorry your shipment is delayed you wont get the bags until Tuesday!I am not very happy right now.I will have to wash the bags really good and reuse to make it until the shipment comes.
Michael and I stopped at a sidewalk sale..I found the MOST adorable Nike tennis shoes for Jaxson.I decided to wait on buying them until he gets his botox shots started.I am still waiting for them to call to begin them.I may have to call children's mercy this week and let them know we have not got the call to set them up yet.Its been 6 weeks we should of heard something by now.
All the kids are doing well and life is going along just fine.School will be starting in a couple weeks.It seems the summers for them get shorter and shorter.Rebecca is the only one who is ready to go back to school.Linda is so so about it.Landen says..NO NO SCHOOL ha ha.

He is growing!
We went to the doctor yesterday to get the stitches out of his Mic_Key button.They weighed him and i about fell over when they told me his weight..My little chunky monkey weighs 26 lbs and 7 oz.This explains why my arms go so numb when holding him .I promise soon to to have new pics of my sweet little one.

HOME!
We got home yesterday around 6:30 P.M. We are so happy to be home.The hospital gave him the first of his immunizations yesterday before releasing him.Last night Jaxson's feeding pump started acting up.It would not charge and was saying low battery although we had it on the charger.So this morning i had to call them and let them know what happened.In the mean time i fed him manually.The medical supply brought out a different machine as they did not have the machine we have.We will use this one until the new replacement comes on the other one.I like the one we had.. its small and easy to use.This one isn't bad just bigger and a tiny bit more complicated.The funny part is..They sent us the wrong bags the other day for the feeding pump Jaxson has.Well they fit this pump we are using so i don't have to mail them back.He said to use them for this machine.I am glad this all worked out.We should get our first shipment of formula for him this week.
All is well now.Jaxson is happy to be home and has been full of smiles.He has been a champ for all he has been through.Tomorrow i call the doc here to get the stitches out of his Mic-key button.They are starting to get really red and sore poor baby.

Jaxson may be home tomorrow!
Tonight Michael is at the hospital with Jaxson.Michael has to do all his feeds by himself.If he does not do them Jaxson will not get to go home.So my husband is doing them he is such a trooper about it all.When i was at hospital today Jaxson was so smiley and happy.He is just the sweetest little guy.He has bad diarrhea and i think its the pediasure doing it.The nurses do not think so but i am positive of it.He had it before surgery too.I will talk with them tomorrow.
We are still waiting to hear if our insurance is going to cover the formula.If so it will be delivered to our door with all of Jaxsons other supplies.We did receive first shipment today.I hope they do and the medical supply store said they do pay for it.So we wait and see if the doc got the order in for it.
I had to purchase a new crib..Landen was mad because Mommy was at hospital with Jax and shoved the crib over and broke it.It was not fixable.So he has a brand new crib..This one was worth the purchase as it goes from baby bed.. to toddler bed.. to twin bed.Tomorrow i am praying that Jaxson and my husband can be released from the hospital.I am tired of making the hour and a half drive I just want my family home.

Home today!
I stayed home from the hospital today!The hour and half drive and all the walking has taken a toll on my body.My feet are swollen and i feel icky.Michael is with our sweet angel at the hospital.I will go tomorrow and stay with Jax and michael will come home.I will stay with him until his release.I called to check on him and was happy to hear the eeg is done and the dentist came too.He had one cavity and the dentist said that tooth is almost ready to fall out so all is good with his tiny little teeth.
Michael said they are dripping his food tiny amounts every hour.That he is wide awake watching his mobile.They are keeping him from having pain which is great.I miss my baby so much already but tomorrow i will be with him.My husband and I will learn all about feeding and caring for the gtube tomorrow.
Landen is loving me being home with him he was so happy when he seen i was here this morning and was clapping his hands.
In the mist of all this its my Rebecca's 15Th Birthday today.We are planning something special for her this weekend.

Jaxson had his surgery!
His surgery took 3 hrs he had his Imbilical hernia fixed.. his reflux problem fixed and his gtube put in place.He did really well and they are keeping him pain free.He wont be able to eat for another hour or more and it will be tiny amounts every hour.His oxygen Sat's are down a little so he is receiving a little oxygen.My boy is so strong and is doing just amazingly well.Michael is with him again and i am home again for the night to be with the rest of our kids.I will go tomorrow and learn all about feeding and care of his Gtube.The ENT is coming tomorrow and we get to order his hearing aides for him.He has an eeg this week,orthopedic doc will see him for his hip and he will hopefully be fitted for braces for his wrist.He is also suppose to see a dentist.The docs are pushing to get this all done before his release day.I am not sure when that is yet though.It is hard being away from him and i don't sleep well without my sweet boy with me.Wednesday Michael is coming home and i will stay with him until the day he gets to come home.

I am home!
I am home for tonight.Michael is with Jax at the hospital.We are taking turns because one little boy here wanted his mommy and was getting really mopey.He got some much needed one on one attention tonight.I am having a hard being away from Jaxson.I have not been apart from him sense we got him home.I know he is in good hands with his daddy but my baby needs his mommy.
The surgeon came in today and they are scheduling Jaxson for surgery tomorrow.They said they are going to band his esophagus to help the reflux and then put the feeding tube in.He got his cat scan today i hope to get the results of that tomorrow.He was having bad diarrhea today and he did vomit last night.I am not sure if the pediasure is agreeing with him or if its something else.The nurses are aware and i will see how he is doing tomorrow.He is suppose to get the rest of his hearing test done tomorrow then we will talk to the ENT and see whats the next step.We know he has significant hearing loss in his right ear.OK I'm off to shower and head to bed have to be up at 5 a.m. and on the road at 6 a.m.

Jaxson in Hospital!
We came for his feeding eval appointment and to be fitted for wrist braces.His feeding eval did not go well at all .He was admitted in to children's hospital.I knew something was not right because when i fed him he would shoot food out his nose..sometimes choke and make striding sounds after.Today they did the swallow study and it was even worse.Jaxson aspirated on liquid,thickened liquid and baby food.He cannot take anything orally.He has a ng tube in for now.This week he will be getting a g tube put in and all his feedings will go through that.He also got part of his hearing test done today..the results for his right ear is he has quite a bit of hearing loss.He will get his left ear tested on Monday and then we discuss hearing aides for him to improve his hearing.
From what the docs say we will be here for awhile.While here they are pushing to get cat scan and EEG done so i don't have to come back.That sounds great to me.
The doctors said it is a miracle that Jaxson is alive with all the aspirating he is doing and has been for a very long time(more then likely sense birth).They also could not believe how much weight he had gained with aspirating the way he does.

important appointments and more
Tomorrow is two very important appointments for Jaxson.He is getting his swallow study done this is very very important and he is also being fitted for his braces for his wrist.I am happy about these appointments.I know the wrist braces are going to be a good thing for him and hopefully he will be more willing to want to pick things up once he has them on.
The baclofen he started for his tight muscles is WORKING how amazing that is.His little arm and legs both are not tensing and tightening he is more relaxed then ever.Jax is so sweet and he smiles all the time and giggles out loud.He is a true joy to be around.He sees me and just breaks out with a huge smile.He is so much fun .I love watching him blossom.
We do have another problem that needs to be addressed with the doc.He vomits mucus.I give him Zyrtec it helps but the vomiting is not getting better and it scares me so bad.He vomited early this morning in his crib i heard him gasping and jumped up and grabbed him out of his crib held him over my arm so he could get it all out without choking.This scares me something bad.I am calling the doc in the morning before we head to the children's hospital for his appointments.
This weekend is the Amelia Earhart Festival so we will have some fun things to do.I am looking forward to fun times with my awesome family.

Look who sets in his highchair!
He is doing so well with a spoon.I am going to start introducing more table foods and less baby foods into his diet.He still loves his bottle so he will take his liquids with thickener in it but food will be fed to him.He seems to like his highchair.

sleep issues
I am having a hard time with Jax .He goes to sleep fine but wakes up every 15 minutes crying.I pick him up and he goes right back to sleep.We moved his crib in our room thinking him being closer to us he would sleep all night.At first this worked but not no more.Michael has put him in bed with us and he does fine.I don't want to start that habit.We have Landen in our bed already because he wont sleep in his own.Jaxson sleeps wonderful if he is being held.This is not working ..I am going to try some melatonin on him and see if that helps.Any ideas?I could use some help with this one.

3 MONTHS HOME
In 3 months he has changed so much!From a 16 lb skinny 5 yr old !
A healthy happy 25 lb 5 yr old.He did not coo or nothing the first month now he coos and tries to talk and that smile says it all.He has come so far and i can see him progressing everyday!I am a proud mama !This and That
I have been down for a week now.I have allot of problems with pinched nerves.The chiropractor thinks this may be chronic and i may have to seek help from my family doctor.It is hard to pick up Jaxson when i have nerves pinched in my back,neck and shoulders.
Jaxson started his new medicine called baclofen it is to help with his muscle tightness.He has been taking it now 5 days today .This morning i am noticing some difference.Jax has been having Vomiting bouts.. this is from his allergies and its is mucus he is vomiting.He takes a teaspoon of Zyrtec a night for it.We may have to call the doc and let him know the Zyrtec is not working if he vomits anymore.Jax cries allot with the hip.He draws his leg up and just cries...i been giving him Motrin and lots of loves and cuddles when he has pain.I cant believe he wont see orthopedic doc until august uggh my poor baby!
Landen is my busy body.. he plays all day long and hard non stop.He cracks me up when he walks up to his big brother and says DDT?His brother then has to do the wrestling move on him but gently actually he changed it a bit as to not hurt Landen.Last night i had both babies on the couch with me and i read them a book about trains.Landen loves to be read to Jax is not so sure yet.I played itsy bitsy spider with them both and then sang their favorite songs to them..Landen(Winnie the Pooh) and Jaxson Jesus Loves me.I love when they smile when i sing to them it is so sweet.Jaxson loves getting his teeth brushes.. the tooth brush must tickle because he cracks up laughing its so cute.Landen i have to really push to get him to brush his teeth the stinker rather play in the water and abandon the tooth brush.
Rebecca got her permit today.I cant believe my little girl can drive now.Has time ever flown bye.Her 15Th birthday is coming up quick my girl needs to slow down.
Linda i wish she would look harder then she does for a summer job.She cleans a couple days a week but she needs a job with a paycheck i also think it would keep her busy and her attitude at bay.
Brian is working at mc Donald's. He loves it!He will be getting his G.E.D. because he messed up school so bad.He is smart just lazy and did not turn homework in not giving him enough credits to graduate.So he will start classes soon and be able to work too.He is talking getting an apartment soon.
I so badly want to do something fun with the kids.Take them to the zoo or worlds of fun or something before summer is over.With all Jax appointments and me being down in the neck and back we just been laying low.That's the update in the Miller house hold for now.More to come later i am sure.

Happy 4th of July!
It rained all day.. we did not go to the lake as it would have been no fun for my little guys to set in tha camper all day.I made a jello cake with frsh strawberries on it.. a pasta salad and i fried hamburgers and made hotdogs. We of course had watermelon.. ya gotta have watermelon on the 4th.Here is a pic of my guy!I love that he is home and sharing this wonderful day with us.I did not get a pic of My Landen he kept running from the camera.
