MANIC MONDAY!

It seems like a Monday anyway!I have work this morning and have to give Linda a ride to work too.I work until 11a.m. and then pick Linda back up at her work and take her to the doctor for her T.B. test.Then i return her back to work and head to my son Williams apartment to help him with his college application and pick up his laundry for him.Then i can come home .I laid both boys clothes out and got Jax meds ready for Michael to give him.Started a load of laundry too Rebecca will throw them in the dryer for me.
I wish i could say all mornings i am on top of things but i cant because most times i am going in circles.I am hoping i pick up this second job and get more hours.It will be a bit more hectic around here but i am enjoying the work i do so much!Hope everyones Tuesday and last day of may is a great one.

THIS WEEK!

This week was the last week of school.As of today the kids are out of school for the summer!Yesterday i picked Linda up and took her job hunting!The first place she went to she was hired.She was so excited as she wanted to go into child care.She got her wish she is working at a daycare.If she stays with the job in July they will pay for her to go to college.21 credit hours will be paid for anyway.She would have to work for them for 4 yrs.This will give her time to decide if this is what she wants for a career!Linda is awesome with kids so i think she will do wonderful.

I also got a call asking if i wanted more hours and a new client.Of course i was happy about it and said yes.The catch will be Juggling a work schedule around Jax appointments.I am sure this will all work out.I am loving the work i get now so will be happy if the new client comes through and i pick up more hours.I should know something next week.All in all this has been a good week !Its late and i need to get to bed soon.I have to take Linda to work in the morning and get myself to work as well.

I love cloth diapering...It is so easy compared to when my kids were babies!No more diaper pins and plastic these are awesome diapers and so cute!I have bought 3 different types of diapers for Jax..These are the ones i use and I love them.He has never had a rash in these and they are super comfy!The money i have saved amazes me and better for the environment and Better for Jax!Jaxson's Happy Hiney thanks me too LOL!

VERY SAD AND BUSY WEEK!

My aunt Loma passed away early Monday morning!It is heart wrenching if you knew her you would understand.My aunt Loma was handicapped and very happy.She had a job and she went to the special Olympics every year.She was ornery and funny and full of life.Tonight was family and friends night and tomorrow is her funeral.It was very hard tonight seeing all her pictures and watching the video of her.I went and seen her last weekend when she was sick.I could not say goodbye because i will see her again someday.
I am also planning and getting things ready for Linda's graduation this weekend!She Graduates Sunday and right after we are having a BBQ for her here at the house so i went to walmart today to get things we need.I still have to get a few more things for it.
I have allot of things that need to be done here at home before Sunday.Friday and Saturday will be spent getting the yard in order both the front porch and back deck swept and ready.Michael will go over to my parents house and pick up the tables we will need.I also have to fit in baking her Graduation cake.It will be busy here but worth it.My little girl is graduating high school moving on to the next chapter of her life.My kids are all growing way to fast it bums me out some days.

We are so proud of our now school teacher!4 years of college out of the way and she was so ready for this day!Now to plan her upcomming wedding!We love youHannah Renee Miller so much.You are such an awesome young woman!Her dad and I still see her as out little girl.

About my Job!

I am so excited about working again.Its not many hours at all but that's what i was looking for so i can still get Jax to his appointments and take care of him.My husband is a great help too but he can only do so much!He don't drive so i do all appointments.He wont do medicines for Jax as he takes so many he is afraid he will mess up.
My job is a PATIENT CARE ATTENDANT(PCA) i will clean and cook for a elderly man twice a week in his home.Its only 4 hrs a week but could pick up a few more hrs as time goes.Its not allot but it works for me.I have done this kind of work before and was laid off just a few short months before leaving to get Jax.So i am back to work.
My husband is not saying much because i think he realises its not many hrs and he can manage Jax until i get home.Once school is out for summer break the teens are here to help with Landen and such during my 2 hrs i am gone.I start tomorrow and will work Thursday too.Next week it will be Tuesdays and Thursdays and i will work appointments around the days i work.I am excited!It will be pocket money or i will put it in saving for our future handicap van we will need.Whatever it goes on all that Matters is i am Working again.I have so missed having a job!

LANDEN WORRIES!

Last week i took Landen to the neurologist because he has been sleeping allot,having dizzy spells and then getting combative.This is not my little boy at all.He is active and happy and lovable.The neuro appointment went very very badly.The doctor was rude refused to listen to my concerns and what has been going on.Saturday Landen was again laying down Michael was laying down with him.All of a sudden Landen set up looked at my husband and said HELP me and then he got combative.He had no clue he was being combative at all.So i took him to the ER here and Nothing all they did was a blood test to check his levels to make sure he was not Toxic from his seizure med.That test came back good his levels are good.This is what topped the cake.The Doctor tells me..you need to take him to a psychiatrist for his autism.Uhh no he don't need a Psychiatrist he needs a neuro doctor.
My aunt with with me to the er!My other aunt is a patient there so why we were waiting for the lab to come my aunt went to see her sister in the hospital.A nurse on the floor my aunt is in NOT the ER.Was making comments about a little boy who was in Er and said it was crazy and the parent has issues.My aunt Sandy was ticked off by then.She told the nurse she had no right talking about the child in the E.R and that why we were there was NOTHING to do with what she was saying.
I called the hospital first thing this morning and filed a complaint.What happened to the Hippa act ?Those dumb forms i sign to keep things private?I can see those don't work.Today i have been on the phone allot between filing a complaint..trying to get funding for a bath chair for Jaxson and finding a new neuro and finding out my Aunt Loma is passing away.This has not been a good day!Although i did get the phone call i was waiting for and i got a part time job !Its not to many hours at all and that's what i was looking for to make pocket money but not work allot because i need to be here for Jax.This is the perfect job for me i am happy about it.

WHAT A WEEK!

This week has been a wild one that is for sure!Landen had a neurology appointment and it went very bad and ended with me losing my temper as the Neuros bedside manner was just horrible.I filed a complaint and am asking for a change in Neurologists.I do not want that man taking care of my son.He actually did not take care of him anyway.I had a couple concerns and he shrugged me off.
Jaxson had an appointment Thursday with the spasticity clinic.The Botox shots are not affective so the next step is meeting with a team of doctors about trying a baclofen pump for our sweet little boy.I was shocked as he put on 2 lbs and weighs in at 36Lbs.After the serial casting and then sent to get an AFO for Jax the AFO just is not going to work for him.Doctor Roge felt it best Not to brace his ankle right now as he has a prominent bone and even padding is not going to help.The casting did help make it easier to do his stretches now and we can stretch his ankle way better then before.
Linda is graduating High school in a couple weeks and has been on the up and down slide.She is scared of her next step of going to college and living out in this world.She has been very emotional as she knows she is becoming an adult quicker then she wants to.
Miss Rebecca has been moody one minute and sweet as pie the next the little stinker.I cant believe my little girl will be 16 yrs old this summer.
My son Brian stopped by before going to work to show me pictures of the sonogram!He was so excited to see his baby moving.HAHA their was a great picture of perfect baby feet but they looked huge.They were hoping to find out if the baby was a girl or boy but the Umbilical cord was in the way so they did not get to see the sex of the baby.They hope to know before the baby is born anyway so she is hoping for another sonogram or she can go get a 4d one which is what they are considering.
Other then the wildness of the week we have enjoyed loving on our little Jax.He is sue trying hard to roll on his tummy from his back.He is trying to grab at toys.I know he good get them too of it was not for his spasticity.
Tuesday is Jaxson neurology appointment.I am nervous to hear what the doc has to say about Jaxson's MRI.I know there is parts of his brain that is not there !Now to see what the MRI has revealed.

I MISS THIS!

I miss hearing his laughter so much!He makes a sound when he laughs but not like this.I am ever so grateful for this video!

WAY TO GO JAXSON!

We have been working with Jaxson on learning to roll over!He can get from belly to back!He has never done back to side or back to belly!Jax was playing on the floor with his activity gym and there he was on his side!I was so very proud of him!My little boy amazes me so much everyday!Way to go Little man!
